We are seeking reliable and flexible Kitchen Porters (General Assistants – Catering) to join our bank staff team. You will support the catering function by maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, while assisting with basic food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas to hygiene and safety standards

Assist with basic food preparation and meal service as needed

Clean kitchen equipment and food storage areas
-
Follow all food hygiene and health & safety procedures
-
Support the catering team to ensure smooth daily operation

Be available to work on a flexible, as-needed basis
What We’re Looking For:

Enthusiasm for working in a care environment, particularly with older people

Basic food hygiene awareness or willingness to be trained

Good communication skills and a helpful, respectful approach

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Willingness to work within a Christian environment and uphold shared values

Commitment to cleanliness, organisation, and safe working practices
